Today was a cold blizzardy January day which prevented the usual family visitors from stopping by. Some came earlier in the week and others will come this weekend I think. But that didn't stop our Nora from turning SIX! Or from us celebrating her.
Jackson did his annual treasure hunt, something he gets as excited about as she does about. And I made her request of a vanilla white cake. The rest of the day consisted of a lot of lego playing, her friend Aria coming to play and presents and singing happy birthday from all of us.
When I asked her if she felt six yet she said, "No, I still feel five. It usually takes a few days to sink in. I'll probably feel six by the weekend."
