The Bees...

Bees 006

Bees 005

Are in! Today we picked up our buzzing package of 7,500 bees and (most importantly) I got them all in their new home safe and sound (or at least that is the case at the moment, the next week will tell a lot). Hiving them was amazing... they are just so fascinating. I could have watched them all day I think.

Except that I couldn't... because my poor little guy has the flu. Aside from the time we spent outside (where he happily slept the entire time in the "nest" Grace and I made him), he spent the rest of the day in my arms.

Bees 003

Crossing my fingers tomorrow is a better day for him and that the rest of us don't get it.

(More carrots and lettuce planted as well as beets and beetberries)
